Is the Occult Evil?

istheoccultevil

The word occult for most people can be a scary and demonic word. Many feel that any association with the occult is considered devilish or ungodly.  But does this make sense from a pure definition standpoint? Is the word occult evil?  Simply put, no.

I always recommend to look up the etymology of any word that you may not be familiar with.  Etymonline.com is a free online resource to find out the etymology of any word.  Let’s take a look at the etymology of the word occult.

1530s, “secret, not divulged,” from Middle French occulte and directly from Latin occultus “hidden, concealed, secret,” past participle of occulere “cover over, conceal,” from ob”over” (see ob-) + a verb related to celare “to hide,” from PIE root *kel- “to hide” (see cell). Meaning “not apprehended by the mind, beyond the range of understanding” is from 1540s. The association with the supernatural sciences (magic, alchemy, astrology, etc.) dates from 1630s. Source

To summarize and simplify, the word occult just means that which is hidden or secret.  This in its pure form is neither positive and good nor negative and evil. It all depends on who or what is being hidden or not visible to the masses.

We can say a lot of things in our world are occult;  hidden or even supernatural. God, gravity, death, energy, memories, breath, atomic molecules, angels, ghosts, and electromagnetism are all either unseen or seem to defy common human rationale of how they exist.

Metaphysicians, occultists, and new agers all are defining and putting a face to what many perceive as unseen or mysterious.  Ancient civilizations across the globe have left paintings, texts, hieroglyphics, sculptures, statues, and the like explaining the true nature of reality.  Most people today are only familiar with the Bible.  Even the Bible itself can be considered an occult book.

Occult, metaphysics, and spirituality are all essentially the same thing!  Occult means hidden. Metaphysics is that which is beyond the physical.  Spirituality is the opposite of physicality or that which you can see with the naked eye.  Again, all these words deal with the supernatural and unseen aspects of reality.

As with most things in our world we can use something for the betterment or detriment for ones self or humanity.  This does not mean the practice or idea itself is evil, per se, it just means that the person using it has wicked intentions. This is the same with anything.  You can use a knife to slice veggies or people, a car to drive someone somewhere or run them over, a mask to hide your skin from cold weather or cover your identity to rob someone.  It all depends on intent.

To conclude, the word occult is not evil.  We say that God created all things and S/He is good.  If this is true, all beings have a spark of the Creator and are not bad at the core but have the choice to shine its light or darkness.  The choice is always ours because we have freewill by birthright.

Numerology Meanings: Number 4 (Four)

numerology4

The purpose of the Numerology Meanings series is to provide an in-depth interpretation of numbers using metaphysics and occult sciences including numerology, astrology, tarot, chakras and more.

The Numerology Meanings series will focus on the holistic (complete) and occult (hidden) vibration of the numbers not just life path numbers or surface level descriptions.  These number definitions can apply to people, places, and things.

Numerology Meanings: Number 4 (Four)

The number four symbolizes foundation, structure, and order. Four seeks to establish a solid ground and base.  It truly is the antithesis to chaos as it seeks to sort out and order everything.

The shape that best describes the number 4 is the square.  The square has four sides and four angles.  No matter how you turn the square it maintains the same shape and appearance.  It will never fall over or be imbalanced because it is a solid shape.

There is no coincidence that a table has 4 legs, a car has 4 wheels, and most animals, 4 legs. This is for solid grounding and stability.  This is exactly what the four strives for.  Solidity and immovability.

Whereas the number 2 represents duality and polarity or the opposition of opposing forces, the 4 takes on this energy and doubles it.  Because 4 is twice the amount of 2, it assumes the energy of 2 while expanding it to another level. This energy gives the appearance of balance between opposition or conflict.

With a balanced 4, similar to the number 2, everything works in harmony. This does not allow too much room for creativity and individuality but this is not what the number 4 seeks.  Four is not worried about standing out in the crowd, sort of speak.  Four is comfortable with routine, monotony, and scheduling.

We can see the order of 4 in our seasons.  The 4 seasons spring, summer, fall, and winter follow a predictable and schedule-oriented expression.  We know when it will be a particular season based on the date.  If the seasons were not predictable, order would be nonexistent.  Farmers rely on the order of the seasons to plant and grow crops.

Order can also be seen with the 4 main physical elements of fire, water, earth, and air.  Fire is always hot, water is always wet, earth is always solid and physical, and air is always unseen and changeable.  Elements left in their natural state will always produce a predictable influence.

For the number 4 to have order it questions everything to make sure it works. This is where the order of four has a somewhat contradictory undertone.  Like attracts like.  But opposites attract, also!

The number 4 teaches us to question everything and learn as much as possible. Knowledge is power.  Four represents knowledge and information while the number 8 takes it and turns it into power.  Four symbolizes information.  Four is a true student and teacher.

Keywords

foundation, structure, information, balance, square, opposition, building, student, teacher, elements, planning, schedule, routines, organization, house, order

Astrology

In Numerology, the number 4 is associated with Rahu or Uranus.  Rahu deals with our human desires and obsessions.  In Western Astrology, Uranus governs Aquarius.  Aquarius is associated with technology, societal affairs, rebellion, and genius.

Alphabet

Numerology associates each letter with a number so each number represents letters. The letters that correspond with the number 4, in the Pythagorean system, are d, m, and v.

In the Chaldean system, the number 4 is associated with d, m, and t.  Chaldean numerology predates the western form and does not assign any letters to the number 9 as they felt that 9 was sacred.

Tarot

The Tarot is a type of divination that uses archetypal energy to give insight into any area of life.  The deck is divided into two sections, the Minor and Major Arcanas.  The Tarot’s Major Arcana cards are all assigned a number.

The Emperor card is #4 in the Tarot.  The Emperor establishes order and structure.  He ensures that everything is sound and orderly.

Being the leader, the Emperor like a father, teaches us lessons and how to maintain a physical life.  The Emperor wants us to follow the rules of society and not sway from maintaining an organized environment.

Chakra

chakra is an energy hub that dispenses energy to different parts of your body. Chakras also hold memories that correspond to the emotional vibration it represents.

The heart chakra (anahata) is the fourth energy center in the chakra system.  The emotions and energies that the heart chakra represents are love and forgiveness.

Each chakra has a 7 year cycle when we are mostly concentrating on the lessons that each chakra teaches.  The cycle for the heart chakra is from 21 to 27 years old.  This is the time when we are seeking to make a union (marriage) to make children and have a home to give structure.

The Cross & Crucifixion of Jesus Symbolic Meaning

cross

Every geometric shape has an occult or metaphysical meaning.  We say that a picture is worth a thousand words.  If this is so then a symbol is worth a thousand pictures….or more!

The cross which is commonly associated with Christianity is a symbol that has its roots way before Christianity was established.  There are also many variations of the cross.  This article will focus on the occult symbolic meaning of the cross that we mainly associate with Christianity.

Some variations of the cross are: Latin cross, St. Andrew’s cross, St. Peter’s cross, the ankh, chi-ro cross, Coptic cross, Celtic cross, Greek cross, Maltese cross, Budded cross, Russian orthodox cross, Julian cross, The Papal cross, The Cross of Lorraine, Camargue cross, Anchor cross, Brighid’s cross, and Baptismal cross.

When we look at the standard Christian cross, we see that it has four main parts.  Top, bottom, left, right extensions that cross in a center point.  This cross forms four quadrants.  Essentially the cross is four lines that make four angles (or two lines that form four angles).

The number four is an obvious numerology connection with the cross.  The number four symbolizes earth, stability, foundation, squares, and conflicts (as in squares in astrology).  The number four is all about structure and order.

What gives us structure and order on earth is the poetic dance that the four main elements do to make order out of chaos.  The four main elements are earth, water, fire, and air.  The four extensions on the cross are faced in a particular direction.  North, south, west, and east.

Each element is associated with a corresponding direction.  North is earth, south is fire, west is water, and east is air.  Direction and elements play a big role in human reality and the number four illustrates this point beautifully.

The cross further symbolizes foundation and earthly existence with an angle of completion by having four 90 degree angles.  From the center point where the limbs intersect the cross it forms four 90 degree angles.  Visually the cross resembles an addition sign in mathematics.

Four 90 degree angles equals 360 degrees, simply take 90 and multiply it by 4 which is the number of angles.  This gives you 360.  360 is the complete radius of a circle and symbolizes a cycle, rotation, complete orbit, and 360 degrees of knowledge. This 360 degrees also applies to the square.

360 is a very powerful number.  6 is double the value of 3 (3×2).  36 is divisible by 3 and 6 (36/3=12 and 36/6=6) and the highest single digit number 9 goes into 36 exactly 4 times.

In the number 360, we have a 3, 6, and 0.  These numbers add up to a 9 (3+6+0).  The number 3 in numerology represents completion, creativity, and expression.  6 is a vibration of balance, service, and beauty.  0 represents the void, chaos, and darkness.  9 is the number of completion, humanitarianism, and creativity.

The cross overall symbolizes mastery over the earthly realm.  Its apparent tie to the physical realm by way of the number 4’s influence, gets transcended by the powerful vibrations of the 360 in its angles.

The story of Jesus being crucified on the cross depicts him with a total of 3 nails nailed in his two hands and feet.  His speculative age was 33 at the time of the crucifixion.  33 is a Master Number in numerology.  Here we have the numbers 3 and 6 (3+3) popping up again.

The crucifixion on an occult symbolic level represents the character Jesus sacrificing his humanity by dying on a four-pointed shape (cross) with three nails.  Even here, we have another powerful number.  The number 7 (4+3). The number 7 represents spirituality, god, and the crown chakra.

After Jesus’ sacrifice of his humanity and earthly existence, he resurrected on the 3rd day! Coincidentally, (probably not) the number 3 pops up again.  The resurrection represents a rebirth or an awakening.  We would term this as enlightenment.  Enlightenment is the awakening to a high level of spiritual truths (light).

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth in me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. – John 14:12 KJV

Jesus says that we can do all that he did but greater.  His story is one of inspiration for us to strive towards.  We all have divinity within us that seeks to express itself.  We incarnate on earth and other planets in order to gain more light by going through darkness of ignorance and forgetfulness.

Regardless if we believe the story of Jesus Christ to be real or fictional, we can all gain insight of what to do on our path to enlightenment.  A wise person utilizes every resource available to expand consciousness.  Embrace all the examples our ancestors provide.  Our ancestors are us!

2014 Year of the Horse Horoscopes in Chinese Astrology

chinese-zodiac

On January 31, 2014 we embark on the Year of the Wood Horse in Chinese astrology.  The Chinese new year usually begins on the second new moon after the winter solstice.  2014 brings us to a year of the powerful and masculine Horse.

The Chinese zodiac consists of 12 animal signs beginning with the Rat and ending with the Pig.  Each animal is given a full year and people born during their specific animal’s year will have personality and character traits indicative of that particular sign.

Instead of predicting what will happen to you in 2014, I will give you a recommendation on how to work with the Horse energy.  There is fate and destiny at play in our world but we do have the ability to capitalize on any situation in our lives.  The key is knowing your particular cycle and taking advantage of opportunities and knowing when to be passive or lay low.

2014 Year of Chinese Horse Overview

The Chinese Horse is very masculine and extroverted.  With a bold and magnetic presence, it’s likely that the Horse will be the center-of-attention in many places. The Horse is never one to bite its tongue, he feels like being up front and honest is freeing and good for the soul.

Freedom is very important to our beloved Horse. Many people will feel the strong need to get away in 2014.  Where to go? Anywhere!  There will be a relief with traveling and visiting unfamiliar places. The Horse’s characteristics are similar to the Western astrological sign Sagittarius. Sagittarius deals with long distant travels.

Outspoken, boisterous, adventurous, and social, the Horse year will be filled with much energy to express yourself to the max.  If you are naturally shy, this can create discomfort because the Horse wants you to get out and play.

2014 Year of the Horse Horoscopes

Be sure to throttle your engine in the year of the Horse.  Instead, take a mental approach to this energy and look for ways to expand your consciousness and raise your vibration.

With the great compatibility between the Horse and Tiger, you may want to capitalize financially on your hobby and/or ideas.

You may want to look into various meet-ups and group discussions.  Let your guard down a little this year and show people the true you….it may even spark a new romantic relationship.

Dragon – When the powerful Dragon meets the dominating Horse it can cause war if not approached ideally.  It’s second nature for a Dragon to sporadically move in whichever direction it feels at the moment.  The Horse year will teach you to think before you act.  You know that any obstacle and challenge can be overcame.  Just learn to make your next move your best move.

Snake – The Horse year for the Snake gives an opportunity for deep self-reflection and meditation.  The Snake is not one to put all its chips on the table and show its hand.  The Horse year will challenge this natural trait.  The best way to counter this resistance is to go deeper within self which comes natural for you. Learn a new meditation technique or yoga practice.

Horse – This is your year, Horse!  This is the time to put yourself on the map. Explore every possibility to connect with others and also to connect the dots with anything that you have been working on.  There will be opportunities for you to meet the right people and obtain much needed resources.  The only thing you have to do is move and do something.  You must act to attract!

You are natural at analyzing personalities so try engaging with people on a deeper level.

Pig – A time for partying!  You may feel like splurging even more in the year of the Horse. Instead of overspending, exercise some of your innate creativity into a new project or idea.  This is also a good time for starting and harvesting new relationships of any kind.  Actualize your ideas and plans this year and watch the fruits of your labor ripen into a sweet bouquet.

Numerology Meanings: Number 3 (Three)

3numerologymeanings

The purpose of the Numerology Meanings series is to provide an in-depth interpretation of numbers using metaphysics and occult sciences including numerology, astrology, tarot, chakras and more.

The Numerology Meanings series will focus on the holistic (complete) and occult (hidden) vibration of the numbers not just life path numbers or surface level descriptions.  These number definitions can apply to people, places, and things.

Numerology Meanings: Number 3 (Three)

The number 3 is about growth and expansion. Three teaches us about balancing the 1 and 2 to express something (3) which brings completion.

Number 3 is the first number of completion.  What most people consider to be the nucleus of a complete family is a man (1), woman (2), and child (3).  The number three represents the child.  A baby is the physical expression of a sexual union between a man and woman.

The triad or trinity of humans is the man, woman, and child.  The trinity in our sky is the sun, moon, and stars.  The man is the sun, the woman is the moon and the stars are the children.

Three has played a prominent position in religion and mythology, also. Currently in Christianity, God is depicted as the father, son, and holy ghost.  In Ancient Kemet (Egypt) there were many trinities but, the most popular is that of Ausar (Osiris), Auset (Isis), and Heru (Horus). The Christian notion of the trinity is the last dated because trinities have been prevalent among many cultures and traditions in antiquity.  The deeper occult view of any trinity is that the seemingly separate parts are all one – emanating from a Source.

The number 3 is all about expression and creativity.  Expression and creativity is one in the same.  The gods, and us, express through creativity.  In order to create you must express something.  This can be done in a myriad of ways from artwork, songwriting, communication and teaching to any other form of expression.

When we look at children, most young ones are very talkative and inquisitive.  A child-like enthusiasm is of expression and creativity.  Children left to their own devices will make up games and stuff to do.  There is no coincidence that your imagination is less limited when you are younger.  This current matrix is not set up to nurture the imagination.

A joyful motivator, the number 3 teaches us to go beyond what we think we are capable of.  Never one to be bored doing nothing, the 3 is all about constant creation, social interaction, and expression to the fullest.

On your spiritual journey to evolve, and raise your vibration, you too can learn from any successful person.  Every person serves as a teacher.  With so many people in the earth school you have many teachers.  This article will serve as a guide to show what spiritually mature people do to maintain a high level of conscious awareness.

7 Habits of Spiritually Mature People

  1. Regular meditation – Spiritually mature people know that it’s important to quiet the mind and go into the darkness of self in order to gain light.  They see meditation as a way out and as a way in.  A means to move out of the ego-filled field of physical reality and into the infinite possibilities of the mind.
  2. Mindful eating habits – Overstanding that you are what you eat, spiritually mature people are mindful of what they put into their temple (body).  They know that what they consume should have some life force to it so they tend to be attracted to fruits, vegetables, superfoods, herbs and supplements.
  3. Positive thinking – Thoughts are things and spiritually mature people know this to be true.  When your vibration is high you automatically keep healthier thoughts.
  4. Unconditional love – The Biblical Jesus was an example of love without condition.  Spiritually mature people live this principle as they see it as being god-like and christ-like.  They also know that God is love and we must emulate this idea to become one with the Creator.
  5. Living with a sense of purpose – Spiritually mature folks know that everyone has a purpose or purposes.  They recognize that they have a voice and express their ideas by any means necessary.  It is not uncommon to find spiritually mature people teaching or helping people in a myriad of ways.
  6. Charity and giving – Giving from the heart is a high expression of love and spiritual maturity.  When you give without expecting anything in return it shows a high character person.  Spiritually mature people are known for giving away resources and information to anyone they can help.
  7. Constant study of self – Spiritually mature people know that they must know self in order to master self.  People constantly evolve so we are always changing.  Within this change we must evaluate ourselves. Spiritually mature people know this and live it.

Numerology Meanings: Number 2 (Two)

2numerologymeaning

The purpose of the Numerology Meanings series is to provide an in-depth interpretation of numbers using metaphysics and occult sciences including numerology, astrology, tarot, chakras and more.

The Numerology Meanings series will focus on the holistic (complete) and occult (hidden) vibration of the numbers not just life path numbers or surface level descriptions.  These number definitions can apply to people, places, and things.

Numerology Meanings: Number 2 (Two)

The number 2 represents balance.  Whereas one brings independence and individuality, two seeks to balance and cooperate.  Thus, 2 infuses harmony when used at its highest expression.

One symbolizes the man and two symbolizes the female. The number 2 is a yin (feminine) number by nature.  It’s at home playing the background or supportive role.  Two does not seek the attention that the number one demands.

With the number 2 being second in sequence it represents follow-up, follow through, and second chances.  Two picks up where one began.  The number two reinforces the leading one.  It’s the supporting actor in the movie of numbers.

The number 2 on a deeper level represents polarity or duality.  Really any double or paired force but especially these.  Polarity or duality gives the number 2 a chance to cooperate in its natural role or cause imbalance and challenges.

In polarity, the number 2 provides the opposite yet equal part to balance and harmonize life and any situation within.  Polarity’s full expression is yin/yang balance – masculinity (1) and femininity (2) in harmony.  Pole is the root word in polarity and represents two points that seem opposite but need each other to exist.

There would be no such thing as man without woman, or dry without wet, or good without bad. The polarizing nature of physical reality allows choices.  So, the number 2 represents choice and options that can reach from one end of the spectrum to the farthest extreme and everything in between.

In duality, the number 2 causes friction and discord.  This truth gives rise to what we know as a duel.  A duel is combat between two people.  A duel pits you: (1) against someone else (2) as opposing forces (duality) instead of harmonizing and balancing each other (polarity).

Duality teaches us that we can resist and have conflict with any single thing outside of self. Depending on the nature in which the 2 chooses to express itself, it will cause harmony or chaos.  Period.

Two also symbolizes the mother.  And, astrologically speaking, mom is represented by the moon. The mom is usually the parent that teaches us about playing well with others.

The feminine, maternal energy of the 2 makes it very receptive and psychic sensitive.  Intuition is natural for the number 2.  Why?  Because the number 2 is emotional and this sensitivity allows for it to be empathic or able to pick up on energies.  The number 2 gives credence to the phrase “mother’s intuition”.

Keywords

Femininity, cooperation, mother, woman, intuition, duality, polarity, choice, wisdom, maternal, second, subtle, soft, extension, shy, nervous, accompany, assistance, partnership, collaboration, feelings, emotions

Astrology

In Numerology, the number 2 is associated with the astrological sign of Cancer.

Cancer, the crab, is an emotional, caring, and sensitive type energy.  Cancer, being a water sign, is emotionally based and extremely intuitive.  Cancers are dependable and motherly by nature.

In Chinese Astrology Cancer is similar to the Sheep/Goat.

Cancer is governed by the moon and is the fourth sign of the Zodiac.  Cancer’s element is water.

Alphabet

Numerology associates each letter with a number so each number represents letters.  The letters that correspond with the number 2, in the Pythagorean system, are b, k, and t.

In the Chaldean system, the number 2 is associated with b, k, and r.

The High Priestess card is #2 in the Tarot.  The High Priestess represents balance, intuition, and mystical or spiritual power. The two pillars show a black and white polarity with the High Priestess seated in-between.  She is soft and subtle yet profoundly powerful and strong.

Chakra

A chakra is an energy hub that dispenses energy to different parts of your body. Chakras also hold memories that correspond to the emotional vibration it represents.

The sacral chakra (swadhisthana) is the second energy center in the chakra system. The emotions and energies that the sacral chakra represent are desires, raw creativity, and emotions.

Each chakra has a 7 year cycle when we are mostly concentrating on the lessons that each chakra teaches.  The cycle for the sacral chakra is from 7 to 13 years old.  This is the time when we want (desire) everything, are emotional, and psychic sensitive.

The number 1 is the first physical manifestation.  1 arises out the void (0) to initiate physicality.  There would be no 2, 3,4, and so on without 1.  One is the initiator and let’s get it cracking number in Numerology.

The number one symbolically represents the male phallus.  This gives it a masculine energy.  In creation a male’s sperm is the initiator of the fetal process.  The man is the giver (1) while the woman is the creator and receiver (2).  The children are the expression of this creation (3).

One can be viewed as unity also.  Two or more things can come together as 1.  This shows how energies can merge and assume one goal or objective.  Sports is a great example of such.  There are positions within each sports team but they wear one uniform. Uniform is short for uniformity.

A loner and independent energy, the number 1 is an individual or single expression but it seeks to expand itself.  1 shines when it is leading by example and gaining followers (2,3,4,5 etc.). This gives 1 the ability to be by itself or leading something else.

One has a special place with people because everyone remembers their first. Who was your first love?  What was your first car?  First job?  First house?  Firsts are usually special to the human experience.

A winner among winners the number 1 is a champion.  One’s strive to be first in field of work, sports competitions, auditions, scores and so on.  Not too many people want to lose;  most one’s want to succeed.  Say one and won.  It’s the same sound.

One represents a focal point.  Ever heard the expression “one-track mind”?  This is because you can focus consciously on one thing, only.  This is the nature of the conscious mind.  While the subconscious mind sees and registers everything (holistic), the conscious mind is focused in on one thing at at time (sequence).

The above example gives way to why it is said that men cannot multi-task.  Since 1 is associated with the father and male energy, it is associated with the left brain (conscious).  The left brain is considered your rational and logical mind.

The number 1 is extremely logical and doesn’t really care about seeing the big picture.  It knows its role and has the drive to execute any plan.  The 1 knows it has to start in order to get where it needs to go.  This gives the number 1 a high drive to begin.

Astrology

In Numerology, the number 1 is associated with the astrological sign of Leo (and sometimes Aries depending on source/system).

Leo is a proud, dramatic, masculine, creative, and leader-type energy.  In fact, Leo is considered the King of the Zodiac.  Leos are self-assured and confident in most undertakings.

In Chinese Astrology Leo is similar to the Dragon.

Leo is governed by the sun and is the 5th sign of the Zodiac.  Leo’s element is fire.

Alphabet

Numerology associates each letter with a number so each number represents letters.  The letters that correspond with the number 1, in the Pythagorean system, are a, j, and s.

In the Chaldean system, the number 1 is associated with a, i, j, q, and y.

The Magician card is #1 in the Tarot.  The Magician card represents manifestation.  A magic trick can include producing something out of “thin air”.  A magician knows how to manipulate people and energies.

The tarot card shows the Magician pointing a wand up to the “heavens” in his right arm and his left arm pointing to the ground.  This is symbolic of as above, so below.  This is also symbolic of channeling energies from the spirit realm to earth (manifestation).

Chakra

A chakra is an energy hub that dispenses energy to different parts of your body.  Chakras also hold memories that correspond to the emotional vibration it represents.

The root chakra (muladhara) is the first energy center in the chakra system.  The emotions and energies that the root chakra represents are traditions of family upbringings, superstition, physical survival, structure and foundation.

Each chakra has a 7 year cycle when we are mostly concentrating on the lessons that each chakra teaches.  The cycle for the root chakra is from birth to 6 years old.  This is the time when we are being taught our first values, traditions, and means for survival (food, clothing, shelter etc.).

Skyscrapers

Skyscrapers are symbolic of the number 1 and the male phallus. Skyscrapers symbolize power, competition, money, success and enterprising.

The Burj Khalifa in Dubai is currently the tallest man made structure in the world (2014).  The skyscraper stands at 2722 feet!

United Arab Emirates is one of the richest countries in the world thanks to the developments in Dubai.

Company Names, Logos & Deities: Occult Symbolism

Ma'at is the Egyptian Goddess of balance and justice.

Spirits, gods, goddesses and the like have played a major role in cultures for years.  Most people would assume that acknowledgement of deities is something that only our ancestors recognized and venerated.  This is far from the truth.

With the advent of monotheistic religions, the practice of worshiping gods was abolished. However, the traditions of worship of these gods and deities were still being practiced.  The practice just went underground.  There is evidence of deity reverence all throughout the globe. This knowledge is available for anyone to see especially those who have the means of travel.

Corporations and governments have long known that there is energy in associating products and services with particular gods and goddesses.  To the layman these names and symbols are not recognizable or maybe insignificant. The study of metaphysics and the occult gives one an eye for seeing things that most people are oblivious to.  You are reading this so you are more than likely one of the chosen few!

The purpose of this article is to present some companies who infuse deified energy into their brand’s name or logo.  This article is not intended to spark conspiracy theories of any sort.  My intention is to illustrate that there is power in working with divine forces and anyone with an altar and spiritual practice can connect to the god realm.
