The Sub-Conscious Body

All consciousness operates from a sub-conscious that infinitely accumulates data from experiences through thoughts and/or actions.  This data is activated through and during these experiences.  We have heard of the sub-conscious mind so, let’s broaden our understanding by introducing the sub-conscious body.  Usually, references made to the sub-conscious mind are generally related to the area of the head or brain but, that is not completely accurate.  The sub-conscious ‘mind’ encompasses a multitude of elements:  physical and nonphysical, visible and invisible, dimensional and multidimensional, and outer spiritual and inner spiritual.  When speaking of the sub-conscious mind and the sub-conscious body as a collective in functionality, we refer to them simply as the sub-conscious.  How many of us take all of these other “elements” into consideration when thinking about the sub-conscious? Incorporating the aspect of the sub-conscious body allows us to identify another component that makes up our total sub-conscious ‘mind’.   The subconscious body collects information from experiences in cellular memory and often triggers the body to have a reaction, in specific situations, causing the ‘mind’ and ‘body’ to bridge similarities to a remembrance of a past experience.  These triggers can be anything that connects to information previously stored in the cellular memory.  A smell, a song, a remark someone made, or the way something feels to the touch can activate memory and cause physical responses.

This is often true for people that have experienced various traumas.  Once the cellular memory has been activated, or triggered, a person can relive the physiological effects of that trauma as if it were happening all over again.  For example, let’s say a child was in a fire that burned down his family home. Forty years later, his subconscious still carries that trauma with him and every now and then, different things can cause that trauma to resurface.  Now, this 40-year old man can witness the smoke and flame from a grill and become entrenched with feelings of anxiety, nervousness, and fear in the mind.  Physiologically, the body may have also reacted by coughing, sweating, increased heart-rate, etc., although there is no immediate danger.   The person is experiencing the same feelings from the earlier trauma do to the cellular memory being activated by the initial smell of smoke.  Since there is no danger, why does this happen?  As all behaviors are derived from the subconscious, the information about the fire had been recorded in the sub-conscious, both mind and body.  The information the sub-conscious records is not time stamped.  Factors that are meaningful to us such as time, age, and locations are irrelevant to the sub-conscious.  As far as the sub-conscious is concerned, the fire trauma that was experienced as a child and the flame and smoke of today are the same events happening at the same time.

The sub-conscious is a communicative organic storage of information cultivated from life experiences relating to physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dynamics.  These are collected and distributed through specifically expressed individual, environmental, and societal behaviors and traits.  One may say that the sub-conscious mind is the thought and the sub-conscious body is the action. All in all, it is safe to say that both transmit and receive information that dictate our mental and physical ‘minds’ and therefore, directly affect us in our experiences.

This information can serve as a guide to help you with the sub-conscious loop of physical and emotional feelings.  The sub-conscious mind and the sub-conscious body are one in the same.  Referenced here as two elements was to broaden our understanding in identifying how the sub-conscious works as a whole.  Better awareness and understanding of the information that is being absorbed by the sub-conscious can assist you in life and on your spiritual path.  Once you are more aware of the data that is being imprinted into your sub-conscious collective, you can then implement a more stern filtering process.  When you quickly identify a potentially harmful piece of data being imprinted into your sub-conscious, you are  able to defuse it more quickly by simply changing your feelings towards that data.

7 Tips to Begin Meditating

Meditation is a practice of pondering or “going within”.  As our planet shifts into a higher vibration, many souls are being guided to begin a meditaton practice.  The intention of this article is to assist beginners with valuable tips to successfully start meditating.

During my own meditative practice, I have experienced everything from seeing multi-dimensional faces and beings to receiving insights and answers that greatly helped me on my path.  My experiences are not uncommon but, it did take focus and practice.  With the right mindset and discipline you will be able to have experiences that, for lack of better words, are simply magical!

7 Tips to Begin Meditating

  1. Meditation is a practice.  A practice is something that you have to do over and over and over.  Look at meditation as an experience as opposed to a destination.  People who play an instrument or sport know the importance of practice.  Remember, practice makes perfect and it starts with discipline.
  2. Be comfortable.  There is no right or wrong way to position the body during meditation.  You may choose to sit in a lotus position or lay down.  It is important to be comfortable.  The goal is to not worry about your body as this will serve as a distraction for going deep within yourself.  This includes wearing little to no clothing.  Also, keep your back as straight as possible.
  3. Focus, focus, focus!  The mind must be focused when meditating.  Do your best to focus on a concept or question.  For example, if you want answers about your life’s purpose then you want to hold that concept in your mind.  This is challenging because the ego will want to think of something else but with practice you will be able to hold on to ANY idea or thought.
  4. Take deep breaths.  Breathing is essential, not only for living but, for reaching higher states of consciousness.  The deeper and more controlled the breath, the deeper you can go into yourself.  When we are asleep, our breathing gets relaxed and slower.  Doing these breaths while awake will help you control your mind better and calm your being.
  5. Play soothing sounds.  Playing music and sounds in the background or in headphones is an optimal way to get in the zone.  Brainwave entrainment technology in the form of binaural beats and isochronic tones are ideal for meditation.  You may also play nature sounds or relaxing music.  Check out our selection of Meditation MP3s.
  6. Be easy on yourself.  Let go of any ideas that you’ve heard or read from other people.  As long as you are advancing in your practice, you are growing and becoming more adept.  You want to relax and embrace the experience.  This concept is difficult in a result-oriented society but you will get results by not focusing on it.  Focus on relaxing and simplicity at first.
  7. Have a meditation space or room.  Do your best to meditate in the same place each time.  You can meditate at an altar, room, or location that is comfortable, quiet, and preferrably dark.  A practice and location will help train the subconscious mind to associate the environment with meditation.  It’s akin to going to school (place) to learn or gym (place) to workout.

Divination 101: What is Divination & Types of Divination

What is Divination?

Divination simply means “to foresee; or predict”.  Throughout the annals of history there have been many shamans, prophets, seers, priests and the likes that have used some form of divination to connect the Spirit World to humanity for guidance and inspiration.

The word divination is from the word divinare which means to “be inspired by a god”.  The gods and higher beings have instructed humans on how to connect with the Divine for eons.  This is why every culture and civilization has at least one form of divination.

You can attribute signs, synchronicites, sequence of events, or omens to various incorporeal beings or you can say it’s a product of your subconscious mind or the collective unconscious; regardless of the source, divination is very practical for assisting one with decision-making and preparation.

Truly, all we need is a heightened level of intuition to make our soul-journ easier and more fulfilling.  Any system or tool is only an extension of that which we have within our true Self.  Our true Self is a divine being that is light years ahead of our human brain and intellect.  Divination will help you increase your own psychic awareness and intuition.

This article is intended to introduce metaphysics students to divination and outline some common forms of predictive sciences that anyone can use.  Though there are many forms of divination, we are concentrating on those that can be used for spiritual self development.

Types & Methods of Divination

Altars – Altars are a gateway or portal from our earthly dimension to the spirit and divine worlds.  You can have an ancestral altar or altars dedicated to specific deities, angels, ascended masters and other higher beings.  Altars allows us a chance to speak to Spirit directly.

Astrology – Many people know their sun sign (eg. Leo, Taurus, Capricorn etc.).  But, Astrology is more in depth than what the newspaper horoscope may portray.  There are also different types of astrology including Chinese, Indian, Western, Sri Lankan, and more.  Astrology helps us to know ourselves better and sense the energies of future events.

Automatic writing – Automatic writing is exactly what the name entails.  Everyone has experienced times when they were writing and it seems as if you are not consciously doing it.  Rather you contribute this to Spirit coming through or your subconscious mind at work, automatic writing is an effective way to channel higher information.

Dream interpretation – The dreamstate is a medium between our world and other dimensional realities.  We are constantly downloaded information while we are asleep.  Write down whatever impressions you receive upon waking up.  Practice dream recall and decoding the symbolic language of dreams.

Gematria – Gematria is a Jewish system assigning numeric values to words and phrases.  Names, places, and things can be broken down to a number.  This number will give you the energy of the corresponding word or phrase.  By knowing the energy of words and phrases, you can see how it truly is and/or how it will affect you.

Hypnotism – Hypnosis is a practice of quieting the conscious mind so the subconscious mind can speak.  There have been many reports of people seeing their past lives, future lives, and solutions to problems during a hypnotherapy session.  Hypnosis is very effective for shedding light on lifelong issues that usually have an influence from previous incarnations.

I Ching – I Ching, also known as the Book of Changes, is an ancient Chinese form of divination.

Ifa – Ifa is a divination system found in Nigeria’s Yoruba tradition.

Literomancy – Literomancy is a form of fortune-telling based on written works of art.  One can decode any written material to conclude a message from the text.

Numerology – There are 2 main forms of numerology, the Chaldean and Pythagorean systems.  Numerology is the science of breaking down words to usually a single digit.  Each single digit number has an archetypal energy that can be associated with the word being used.  Also, Numerology reduces a compound digit number to a single digit.  The exception is repeating digit numbers like 11, 55, 99.

Oracle cards – Oracle cards are a way of gathering archetypal energies for any question one may have.  There are different types of oracle cards from angelic messages to life purpose.  All center around providing clarity for an array of situations.

Palmistry –  Palmistry, or hand reading, is a way to read the book of your soul.  There is much information in every area of the hand incuding the shape, lines and marks, finger length and so on.  An experienced palm reader can tell you about past, present, and even future events of your life. Additionally, this includes dermatoglyphics or fingerprint reading.

Scrying – Commonly associated with crystal balls, scrying can use a bowl of water, a lake, a picture or anything else that one can stare at.  The act of staring at an object, especially one with spiritual ties, allows one to have visions and insight into pretty much anything.  The visions one has while scrying have been attributed to gods, demons, spirits, subconscious mind and hosts of other entities depending upon culture and spiritual beliefs.

Tarot cards – The tarot is similar to oracle cards except the tarot has a set form of symbols.  The deck is divided into two parts: major and minor arcana.  The major arcana are a powerfully specific archetypal energy while the minor arcana are an emotionally specific sub-energy of the major. The tarot is more of a character-type archetype that has a character and situation for every part in the movie of your life.

9 Simple Ways to Increase Your Intuition

Everyone has a level of intuition and psychic ability.  You are reading this now, so you definitely fall under this category.  The simple fact that you are even seeking information like this shows that you are already following your Spirit Mind (higher self).  With enough focus and practice you will expand your consciousness and become more aware of that which you were previously unaware of!

Intuition is a blessing from our Creator.  Inner knowing allows us to move through life with a sense of purpose and direction.  Working with the energy of the third eye will enable you to “see” and sense things, from the small to the miraculous, that will expand your conscious awareness.  What you do from that point is up to you.  The more you are aware of the more choices you have for endless experiences.

Your third eye, also known as the brow chakra and associated with the pineal gland, is mostly responsible for intuition.  Third eye energy is developed with focus and practice.  The following tips provide simple practices that you can start today!  Pick one or more applications and have fun.  Trust yourself.  You really do have all the answers inside you.  Quiet the ego and hear what you really have to say!

9 Simple Ways to Increase Your Intution

  1. Meditation – I know this is obvious.  But, have you really committed to a meditative practice for any extended period of time?  If you have, then have you tried any other forms of meditation?  Have you meditated with crystals?  There are many ways to meditate.  Search the internet and Youtube and you can’t miss.  Also, you may want to check out our article “Easy Meditation for Third Eye Activation“.
  2. Dreams – Record your dreams every morning.  Keep a dream journal by your bed or get a dream journal app for your cell phone.  The dreamstate is a playground for intuitive impressions.  Dreaming is one of the ways that our soul can speak to us directly.  If you’re not recalling your dreams check out “Tips & Techniques for Dream Recall“.
  3. Tarot & Oracle Cards – There are many different types of tarot decks and oracle cards.  Oracle and tarot cards deal with universal archetypes.  These archetypes are a product of our collective consciousness and primordial energies.  Working with oracle and tarot cards unlocks certain levels of the subconscious mind.  This is perfect for increasing intuition.
  4. Guessing Games – Practice prediction with common objects.  You can take a playing deck of cards and guess numbers, colors and/or suits.  Shuffle a deck of cards and practice guessing whatever you choose.  It is not about getting it right or wrong, by simply practicing you begin to exercise your psychic muscles.
  5. Brainwave Entrainment – Sound does different things to the brain which in turn affects the mind.  Brainwave entrainment in the form of binaural beats, monaural beats, and isochronic tones, synchronizes the brain to a specific brainwave pattern.  The brain has different wave patterns that correspond to different states of consciousness.  Alpha and theta wave states are ideal for intuitive perceptions.
  6. Alkaline Foods – Everything you put into your mouth after digestion breaks down to an acidic or alkaline ash.  Alkaline forming foods give you energy while acidic forming foods takes away from your energetic supply.  Alkalinity attracts higher levels of electromagnetic energy.  Electromagnetic energy is the subtle energy that carries non physical information.  Simpy put, alkaline foods help to increase your overall vibration no matter how naturally psychic sensitive you are.
  7. Crystals – Working with crystals can be a fun way to experiment and experience different subtle vibrations.  To increase intuition, you want to work with crystals that correspond to the brow and crown chakras.  These crystals are typically clear, purple, indigo, or violet in color.  You can meditate with crystals and/or carry them with you in a pouch or purse.  Read “How to Use Crystals for Third Eye Chakra Opening” for more information.
  8. Sunsets & Sunrises – Taking in the Sun’s energy when it is orange or setting/rising is tremendously beneficial for the third eye.  You can do this daily for 3-5 minutes, it doesn’t take long.  Your pineal gland (third eye) is a crystal and reacts remarkably to our Sun.
  9. Supplements & Superfoods – This is similar to eating more alkaline foods while adding a more powerful punch.  Supplements rich in chlorophyll are like steroids to your intuitive faculties.  Superfoods include, cacao, chlorellaspirulina, sea moss, blue green algae and wheatgrass.  For more information see:  “Klamath Blue Green Algae Information and Benefits (Super Brain Food)

What is Consciousness?

Molecular Thoughts

“THE ALL is MIND; The Universe is Mental.”–The Kybalion

The above quote is taken from the Kybalion which is commonly attributed to Djehuty, also known as Thoth, who was the deity of writing, magic, and science in Kemet (Ancient Egypt).  According to the Kybalion, everything that we see and sense in the material realm is a manifestation from the ALL, which is Mind, and in turn, is conscious and alive.  Basically, everything has a spark from the Creator and is aware because of this connection.

Modern scientists are hard-pressed to simply explain consciousness because it is mystical and spiritual in its nature.  Modern science uses a physical oriented approach to explaining reality.  Science tends to derive conclusions from experiments that are bases on materials as its foundation. The unseen always has a hand to play in that which we term material and physical.  Therefore, any postulation and theory is incomplete if not viewed and studied holistically.

Our reality falls more into the mystical and paranormal realm more than what the average human would care to admit.  Many phenomena in our world defies human intellect.  These phenomena can include things like the precise movement of the planets in our solar system, the culmination of atoms communicating and bonding to form matter, the human body’s accurate maintaining of a 98.6 degree temperature, the way sound and light travels, or even the existence of life on this planet.  In general, all the above defy human rationale and logic when viewed strictly as just physical happenstances.

What causes the above mentioned examples to respond and behave with such unwavering and automatic fortitude?  The answer is simply, consciousness.  In order for something to exist or co-exist there has to be a level of awareness, or else, it would not thrive in a world of natural patterns and chains of cause and effect.

Consciousness = Awareness

Awareness = Knowing

Consciousness = Awareness & Knowing

Nature means natural.  Who or what told fire to go out if enough water is poured on it?  Who or what told fire to grow bigger when combined with explosive substances or materials?  Why does fire react predictably in any physical experiment?  The answer is because fire is “programmed” to react in a specific manner depending upon circumstance and/or surroundings.  In such a conditions or situation, fire is aware of its environment.  Some conscious intelligence had to give the element its nature.

We too are natural but, what separates man from nature is our free will of choice.  When we are aware of more than one concept we have the ability to decide between such choices.  Our choices can be seen as unnatural or unpredictable while nature’s elements are more predictable and repeatable. All in all, awareness is the underlying foundation for all that occurs.

We are aware on different levels depending upon the situation we are facing.  The more we are aware or know about a particular person, place, or thing, the more choices we have.  If you know there is a road closed on your way to work then you can stop and get directions at a local gas station, reroute on a GPS, buy a map, follow detour signs, or take another route.  Without the awareness of a closed road, you are then limited in your options to get from point A to B.  This example is akin to the navigation of our life.  The more we are aware or conscious the better equipped we are to live our lives.

Consciousness, simply meaning awareness, can exist on two levels; consciousness through knowledge (facts and information) or consciousness through experience.

In the so-called spiritual realm there is definitely more than meets the physical eye.  Phenomena such as ghosts or spirits, angels, deities, telepathy (communicating without words), ESP (extra sensory perception) and the myriad of other seemingly non-physical happenings are conscious to some and unconscious to others – based off of knowledge and/or experience.

When we, in the West, talk about spiritual phenomena most fall into one of three main classes; those who are aware by way of cultural beliefs or education, those who have direct experiences or, those who have no clue that anything exists beyond the physical illusion.

The more you are aware of the more likely you will experience that which you have knowledge about.  The more you are aware the easier you will be able to discern.  Why do you think a court judge wants to get all evidence, witness testimony, and experts established during proceedings?  This is so the judge can review ALL information possible to make the best, most fair decision.

The truth is, consciousness is probably one of the most prized possessions that we have as souls.  Many have suggested that we are souls having a human experience.  When you experience something you become much more aware of that which you are engaged in.  Every experience leads to some measure of reasoning and overstanding.  The key is to go into each experience open and consciously “taking it in”.

Many humans, by way of various factors, go through life in a comatose state; unaware and travelling blindly.  The easiest person to control and manipulate is one who has no awareness of self and environment.  The Art of War by Sun Tzu suggests that you should not do battle on unfamiliar terrain.  Therefore, you must know where you are in order to get to where you want to go.

When you lack awareness and are ignorant to what pertains to you, you allow those with more knowledge to control you.  Salespeople everywhere are privy to this fact.  Salespeople usually qualify their target customer and find a need or want.  If a customer is lacking knowledge of a particular product or service, the salesperson can intentionally overvalue a feature or add-on items or services.  Most aggressive salespeople prey upon uninformed buyers.

You can overcome or completely avoid any and all oppressive acts from others by becoming more conscious of yourself.  There are many layers of the human mind and soul.  The following list shows different parts of the human self that would behoove you to be mindful of.

Become more mindful of your:

Utilizing this text will automatically make you conscious of your personal self.  Just by raising your consciousness you allow what was below your awareness to come to the surface.  When this happens you have the ability to learn from your experience and furthermore, to use what you have learned as a means to help overcome those life lessons that seem to repeat over and over.  The choice is really yours.

This article was designed for those who read and apply the lessons to become conscious on many levels, beginning with self.  An important metaphysical philosophy is that everything outside of self is a reflection or mirror image of your inner being.  Simply put, nothing is outside of you. When you know yourself intimately, you can better overstand that which is seemingly outside of you.

Law of Mentalism Made Simple

mentalhealth.jpg (600×600)“The  ALL is MIND: The Universe is Mental” – The Kybalion

Most people are familiar with the axiom “as above, so below”, which is the Law of Correspondence as written in the Kybalion.  The Kybalion is a collection of 7 universal laws usually accredited to the god of wisdom in Ancient Egypt named Thoth, also called Djehuty.  The first of these laws, as stated in the Kybalion, is the Law of Mentalism.  The Universal Laws are simply the “rules” that the universe abides by.

You see, everything begins with thought.  Nothing is before thought.  In order for anything to exist it must have been conceived in the mind first.  The mind is the bridge between the soul and the human brain.  Let’s look at this on a mundane level to keep the Law of Mentalism simple and practical.

A thought, which is the product of the mind and soul, can be looked at two ways.  We have conscious thoughts and subconscious thoughts.  Conscious thoughts are thoughts and ideas that you are aware of and create rationally and intentionally.  Subconscious thoughts are thoughts that you are not aware of and are seemingly automatic.  Most routine things we do as humans such as brushing teeth, washing clothes, and driving familiar routes are things we seem to do automatically because it doesn’t take much thought or effort and therefore the actions are seem thoughtless.  When we do new or unfamiliar endeavors we must put more thought and effort into them, at first.

Without conscious and subconscious thoughts anything we do or make is not possible.  Your subconscious mind is a product of repetition.  Your conscious mind seeks to identify, label, and justify thoughts and actions.  The subconscious mind is automatic and the conscious mind is current and attentive.  They work hand and hand in the physical reality.

Every invention and natural occurrence in our world was first a thought.  The thought can be looked at as pure energy that gives rise to the physical manifestation of such energy.  That is why modern science will tell you that everything is made up of energy.  Energy, especially at the subatomic level, can not be measured with regular, everyday instruments.  Yet, it still exists.  Similarly, your mind can not be measured with instruments and tools but your brain can.  Your mind is not your brain.  The brain is what your body uses to “channel” in the mind.

Also in the Kybalion we have the Law of Polarity.  This law explains how everything has its apparent opposite.  The polarity of physical, that which you can see and quantify, is spiritual or, that which you can not see with the naked physical eyes.  The mind which is accredited with thought gives rise to everything that we see.  Our reality is the product of our collective consciousness which is the embodiment of all our thoughts thus, all is mind and the universal is mental.

Remember, everything you see and do is either conscious (aware) or subconscious (unaware).  The key is to become more aware of what you were previously unaware of.  This is how we expand our consciousness and become more enlightened.  Consciousness, simply meaning awareness, affords us more choices to make more evolved decisions.  Chance favors the prepared mind!!!!!!

Using Binaural Beats & Isochronic Tones for Third Eye Activation

binaural monaural beats isochronic tones

With the splurge of so-called advancements during the “technology age” we now have products that can do a plethora of things with the mind.  Brainwave entrainment or brainwave synchronization is any practice that causes brainwave frequencies to fall under a certain state (beta, alpha, theta, delta).  What once took many days, months, or years of practicing meditation or deep relaxation, can now be expedited with the advent of this amazing technology.

(Click picture to see our selection of brainwave entrainment MP3s)

Three of the most popular forms of brainwave entrainment are the binaural & monaural beats and isochronic tones.  Click here to read more about brainwave entrainment and binaural, monaurals, and isochronic tones.

How do you use binaural beats, monaural beats, and isochronic tones to help open your third eye?

Simple!  The more you “go within” and slow down your active, rational mind, the more you give light to your third eye (pineal gland).  Your third eye is activated when your mind is still and focused on something of a higher spiritual plane.  There are many roads to this destination but it’s vital to tune out mundane and secular stimuli in order to achieve success!

Our pineal gland is most active when we are out of our body, commonly known as dreaming.  This is when you are projecting what is within your subconscious and superconscious mind, or higher self (Spirit Mind).  When we consciously simulate sleep brainwaves we actively participate in a waking dream of infinite possibilities and realities!

This is what brainwave entrainment does:  it gets you closer to accessing your “Christ Mind” or divine consciousness.  Whether you are drawn to binaurals, monaurals, or isochronic tones you will be able to activate your third eye and begin to strengthen its power to your highest capability.

Though you are only required to wear headphones or earbuds with binaural beats due to its dual frequency creating a variance picked up by the brain, I recommend using headphones for monaural beats and isochronic tones.

Third Eye Activation technique for binaural/monaural beats and isochronic tones

  1. Simply get in a relaxed position with your tone playing directly into your ear with headphones or earbuds.  You may listen to monaural beats and isochronic tones without headphones
  2. Now focus your breathing into and out of your 3rd eye chakra which is located in the middle of your forehead about 1/2 inch above your brow.  When you inhale feel the air going into your 3rd eye chakra, make it pulsate.  During exhales release the pressure.  You may feel tingles and temperature changes in this area.
  3. Repeat step 2 for 15-60 minutes.

You may do this technique anytime but, I suggest doing it before you get out of bed in the morning or prior to going to sleep for the night.  I also recommend that you do this in a dark place.  This technique can be a daily, weekly, or monthly practice.  The more times you do it, the more light your third eye will gain.

After regular practice of brainwave entrainment meditation you will begin to increase intuition, creativity, spirit communication, dream recall, relaxation, serenity, abundance, happiness, “psychic” abilities and much more!

Happy travels!

Brainwave Entrainment Technology

The brain, which is the physical organ that processes our thoughts and mind, is a powerful electrochemical machine.  Many philosophized that it is the true or first computer!  A fully functional brain can generate about 10 watts of electrical power!  This is why we can measure its activity with machines such as the EEG (electroencephalography).  And this all begins with a thought.

The brain operates on four main frequencies or waves;  beta, alpha, theta, and delta.  Each frequency causes a response on your mindset and thus your physical being as well.

  • Beta (13-30 hertz) – Alert state, active, mentally engaged and concentrating – Low amplitude waves – This state is associated with your everyday waking life.
  •  Alpha (8-13 hertz) – Relaxed state, closed eyes, non-arousal, reflecting – Slower brainwave than Beta, higher in amplitude – This state is associated with open eyed daydreaming.
  • Theta (4-8 hertz) – Subconscious, drowsiness, early sleep, very quiet mind and body – Very low frequency and higher amplitude than Alpha – This state is associated with deep relaxation.
  • Delta (up to 4 hertz) – Unconsciousness, dreamless state – Highest in amplitude, slowest frequency – This state is associated with deep sleep.

Sound can “manipulate” your brainwaves.  This is why soft music, like classical, can have a calming effect to your mind and body(alpha state).  With that in mind, this is exactly what brainwave entrainment tones do, they induce brainwave patterns to reach a particular state. So, what is brainwave entrainment?  Brainwave entrainment is any methodology or practice that causes brainwave patterns to slow down resulting in an altered state of consciousness.

Check out our selection of brainwave entrainment MP3 downloads here!

The benefits of brainwave entrainment are:

  • Heightened intuition and “psychic” power
  • Balance both hemispheres of the brain (intuition/intellect)
  • Increase creativity
  • Stronger connection to angels, spirit/animal guides, ancestors and other unseen forces
  • Healing the body and emotions
  • Easier to reach a deep, relaxed, meditative state
  • Reduce stress and anxiety
  • Calmness
  • Open up third eye and crown chakra, plus many more!

The different types of brainwave entrainment technology include:

  • Isochronic tones – evenly spaced tones that pulsate or turn on and off quickly, considered one of the most effective tone-based technologies.  (Recommended for use with headphones or ear buds for maximum effect)
  • Binaural beats – works by way of beat frequency, two tones with different but close frequencies – The difference corresponds with the same brainwave.  For example, an alpha binaural beat with a 495 hertz in one ear and 505 hertz in the other ear(10 hertz difference) will induce the listener to create more alpha brainwaves.  (Binaural beats only work with headphones)
  • Monaural beats – similar to binaural beats but both tones are play in the same ear, no difference to amount of hertz.  (Recommended for use with headphones, but not required)

The isochronic tones, monaural and binural beat MP3 downloads we offer here at 3rd Eye can help you by slowing down your mind so you can reach a deeper meditative state to invoke third eye activation.  Doing so, is how to operate from the Spirit Mind, which is seeing beyond the physical or surface level to the true essence of all.

11 Laws of the Spirit Mind™

spirit mind

The 11 Laws of the Spirit Mind are a blueprint for accessing your Higher Self.  We access this state of being or consciousness by activating our third eye and developing our subconscious mind.  There is a lot of talk about the Higher Self, Spirit, God Mind, Christ Consciousness and the sort but, rarely is there a methodology or principles laid forth to reach this higher state.  The purpose of these laws is to help those who are new to spirituality, metaphysics, and self-development and for those who need a little more instruction or direction on which way to go to live their highest self.

Take in mind that these laws are just the summary of what each principle entails.  There are things that you must do to gain access to your Spirit Mind.  It is not good enough to just read and think something will magically happen on an enlightened level.  YOU have to do the work!  For some, it may take this very brief overview of the laws to drastically change their reality, and others may need more information and/or instruction.

S. Ali Myers offers Intuitive Counseling to help clients operate from the Spirit Mind (Higher Self).

11 Laws of the Spirit Mind

Law #1. Know Self

You are a spiritual being in a physical body.  You incarnated with gifts and have life lessons to learn.  You have a pineal gland (third eye) and subconscious mind (Spirit Mind, Higher Self, Christ Mind etc.).  When you know yourself, physically and spiritually, you realize the essence of everything in existence.  Why?  Because everything is connected and is a reflection of ALL.

Law #2. Practice Love and Forgiveness

Love and forgiveness begin with self and then you may extend it to others.  You must love yourself and forgive yourself before you can energetically express it to others.  The heart is the gateway to your Higher Self (Spirit Mind).  It is through this energy center that you are lead to the higher faculties of your holistic self.  Anything less than this emotional energy is nothing more than you operating from your ego(self).

Law #3. Everything is Mental

Consciousness reigns supreme in this reality.  You must be aware of your conscious and subconscious thoughts.  Positive thoughts produce positive things and vice versa.  Perception is in the mind of the beholder.  Raise your consciousness and perceive from a higher vantage point.  It’s all in the mind!

Law #4. Follow Through with Intuitive Thoughts

Always listen to your “first voice” and act on those “irrational” thoughts that surface in your Spirit Mind.  This is your Higher Self speaking to you.  It’s important to act on all your “messages” to make room for more to come in.  These higher vibrating thoughts are meant to assist you in living your highest self or purpose and has your best interest at heart.  The challenge is differentiating between your regular thoughts and those of a higher nature (intuitive thoughts).

Law #5. Learn, Learn, Learn

You are here to learn and grow in this school that we call life.  What do you need to learn?  You need to learn about the things that you are attracted to and guided to.  Trust your intuition.  We learn through experiencing, so experiment with any information you are lead to.  Go past the information and gain true wisdom by applying this knowledge (information) in your everyday life.

Law #6. Follow Signs and Synchronicities

We all receive “pushes in the right direction” in the form of signs (seemingly out-of-place people, places, and things that lead you to something meaningful) and synchronicities (meaningful “coincidence”).  Everything has a cause.  These revelations are powerful and provide major insight into what you are doing or working on.

Law #7. Practice Meditation

Go within to the dark areas of yourself.  Out of that darkness comes the light or truth.  Meditation strengthens your third eye and increases your inner vision (inner sight).  It also helps you to have more control over your thoughts, and thus your actions.  Try meditating in the morning before sunrise or during the night when your third eye is more responsive.

Law #8. Decode Your Third Eye Adventures (dreams)

Your Spirit Mind communicates with you uninterrupted and without rationing while you so-call dream.  You are in your true essence (energy being) when you are “dreaming”.  Decode the symbolism of what your adventures entail.  You may receive premonitions, messages, warnings, knowledge and an endless array of possibilities while you dream.  Also, practice decoding or identifying the underlying symbolism in movies to help with breaking down your own adventures.  Remember, art imitates life.

Law #9. Live Your Purpose

If you are living then you have a reason for why you are here.  Everything in existence serves a purpose and you are no exception.  If you didn’t, you wouldn’t be here.  You’ll know when you have found your purpose and true path.  Once again, trust your intuition (Spirit Mind) and evaluate what comes natural to you.  You came here with the appropriate gifts and talents to live out your purpose.  Reconnect with this higher part of yourself and develop your gifts.

Law #10. Mind Your Food

There is no universal, one-size-fits-all diet and approach to overall health and well-being. Food, in this context, refers to drinks, supplements, medicine, drugs, and herbs.  There are high vibrating “foods” and low vibrating ones.  The key is to identify with what vibrates on your personal frequency and will benefit your highest self.  Be careful…. there are elements out there in the name of so-called foods (fast food, processed, GMO, sugars, salts, flour etc.), toxic medicines, fluoridated water, mercury-having vaccines, chem-trails etc.

Law #11. Discern Truth from Illusion

One of the lessons of the Third Eye Chakra is the discernment between truth and illusion.  You will flourish with truths or you will be decayed by lies.  Stay close to those truths that you hold dear within your heart.  See beneath the surface and trust your intuition and feelings.  When you live in truth you see things for what they are.  When you allow people and things outside of yourself to define your truths, you are living an illusion.  There are only universal truths that truly apply to everything….. the rest are either personal and/or subjective.

What is the Spirit Mind™?

spirit mind

This current 3D reality is based off dualities.  Everything has an opposite or opposing force.  For example: left/right, up/down, cold/hot, good/bad, solid/liquid and so on.  All these things are considered opposites but they are still one in the same.  Left and right are both directions as cold and hot are both temperatures.  They just vary in frequency.

It’s accepted by most that thoughts become things.  Taking this example even further, we can also say that everything derives from the spirit or non-physical into the physical.  This means that everything in this reality has a spiritual existence or imprint.  All things manifest from the spirit or unseen.

Most modern day scientists and quantum physicists have accepted the fact that physical matter is really a condensed version of energy (non-physical; spiritual).  Albert Einstein is credited with the famous formula E = mc2.  This scientifically explains how matter can be turned into energy and energy into matter.  They are one in the same.

When we operate from our Spirit Mind, we are aware of the unseen and pick up “messages” that were previously not received.  This drastically increases our chances of successfully navigating this 3D reality.  It’s like looking at a clock with the knowledge of a clockmaker.  Most people just see the time but the clockmaker knows the inner workings and mechanical functions – aware of the unseen.  The clockmaker innerstands the spirit of the clock.

By using your Spirit Mind through third eye activation and subconscious mind development, you “turn on” your inner vision and become aware of what you previously did not notice.  You go from consciously using only 10% of your brain to utilizing more of your “think tank”!  This is the secret of becoming superhuman in this material world.  Your Spirit Mind is all about “seeing” beneath the surface which in turn will help you better in your physical reality.

Your Spirit Mind is truly your Higher Self.

Everything is mental or in the mind of the beholder.  Elevating your conscious awareness by actively using your Spirit Mind is key to:

  • receiving messages from the Spirit World
  • minimizing the effects of negative programming by the media, “powers-that-be”, society, and other people
  • increasing creativity
  • having more direction in life
  • living a happier and more fulfilled life
  • becoming more “psychic” and intuitive
  • knowing your life purpose & Much More!

What is the Subconscious Mind and How Do You Program it?

subconscious mind conscious mind 88 12

What is the subconscious mind?  What does the subconscious mind do?  Your subconscious mind is your ultimate video, voice, and thought recorder.  From this lifetime and before, your subconscious mind has recorded everything that you’ve seen, heard, thought or experienced.

So why haven’t you heard more about the subconscious mind?  To this point, scientists and neuro-fanatics have been unable to explain what the approximately 90% of your brain that you don’t use does?   The subconscious mind exists within that 90% majority.  You can call it your higher self, god mind, christ conscious, or whatever supernatural tag you want to place on it.

The word subconscious is easily broken down.  Sub means below and conscious means awareness, so subconscious simply means that which is below your awareness or, what your are not aware of.

Are you aware of your heartbeat every second of every day?  What about your breathing?  How many times have you blinked your eyes today?  Do you consciously digest your food?  Most of us do not even chew our food consciously.  This is a subconscious action.

Have you ever been driving on the highway and got so lost in your thoughts or listening to music that you couldn’t even remember the last exit sign, how fast you were driving, or the fact that other drivers were around you?  That is because your mind was consciously thinking or listening to music and that all or most of its energy was focused on the music and you were subconsciously driving.  This means you were  driving solely by your mind’s retention and execution of the ability to maneuver a vehicle.  This is why young people are told to “pay attention to the road”.  Cliches are also a form of subconscious mind programming.

We use the automatic functions of our subconscious mind on a daily basis.  Mundane routines such as brushing your teeth, combing or brushing your hair (if you have any, unlike myself!), chewing gum, folding clothes, mowing the lawn, cleaning windows, washing dishes, vacuuming….I think you get the point.  Any activity that you have done repeatedly is planted prominently in your subconscious mind.  It is not by chance that repetition is one of the best ways to influence the subconscious mind.  Ever wondered why you see the same commercials over and over?

S. Ali Myers offers Intuitive Counseling to help those that are ready to help themselves.

Your subconscious mind is programmed by you, your family and friends, society and everything else outside of you.  Your subconscious mind does not discern between what is true or false.  Your conscious, or rational and reasoning mind does that.  The subconscious accepts everything.  That’s why it’s critical that you filter what is embedded in it.

We live in the information age and what you are aware of is vital in navigating this physical reality.  It’s all about being aware of the unaware.  Or conscious of the subconscious.  You are the center and god or goddess of your universe.  Everything is a perspective of your mentality or consciousness.  You can program yourself for happiness and success or let everything outside of  you program your mind with fear and  thoughts of failure.  Thoughts become things.  The choice lies with you.

In addition to deprogramming and reprogramming negative subconscious thoughts, you can install positive programs.  Here are a couple practical techniques that you can use to program your subconscious mind for the better.

Tip:  Use an alpha wave binaural beat (brainwave entrainment) to help program your subconscious mind.

Techniques for programming your subconscious mind:

1. Positive Affirmations & Mantras – An affirmation is any statement that you affirm, or speak.  A mantra is an affirmation or phrase that is repeated over and over.  When you repeat a positive affirmation, it is eaten up by your subconscious mind making a lasting impression.  Some examples of positive affirmations that you can repeat are:

  • “I am filled with peace, harmony and joy.”
  • “My positive thoughts produce positive things.”
  • “I love myself and everything that is around me.”

You can say affirmations for a set amount of time or quantity.  Also, try repeating them in your head throughout the day.  The more you say your positive affirmations, the better your results will be.  Try the provided affirmations or make up your own.

2. Create positive habits and routines – If you have a job, then you have developed a routine.  Your subconscious mind has accepted the fact that you will and must go to work.  This is because most people associate having a job with being able to live within society.  Knowing what you know now about your subconscious mind, you can begin creating habits and routines that will fuel your soul and ignite your spirit.

Create positive habits and routines like:

  • meditation
  • eating healthier (alkaline diet, vegetarian/vegan, replace a meal with a smoothie, drink more water etc.)
  • practicing marital arts or yoga
  • artistic expressions like painting, drawing, cooking, decorating, sculpting and such
  • keep a daily journal and/or dream journal

Eventually, any activity or practice you partake in will become what we call, second nature.  Remember, anything you try that may be difficult or awkward initially, will become easier with time and practice.
